He is one of the promoters and Chairman & Managing Director of NNR.
He got B.E. in Computer Science in 1988 from College of Engineering, Andhra University, AP, and obtained M.Tech in Industrial Management from IIT-Bombay in 1990. He |

moved to USA in 1996 and worked with many banks including Merrill Lynch and manufacturing companies including Western Digital till 2007. |
He left his lucrative carrier in USA and moved back to India in 2007 to put his experience into work in India.
His wall-street experience helped him in understanding the business opportunities around the world. He subscribed to the idea of making more money in inefficient markets. India is a developing country with very inefficient market. Inefficiency is everywhere in India. Hence there is a lot of scope and potential in every area including infrastructure, healthcare, education, manufacturing, agriculture, etc. |

He also subscribed to the idea of minimal governance. He believes in Government restricting itself to the role of facilitator. |
|
He also believes in market economy. Market forces should determine the prices of goods and services. |
|
He believes if right environment and opportunity is provided, people, irrespective of their backgrounds, can utilize their full potential and do miracles. |

He saw the potential for renewable energy in general and Solar in particular during his wall-street times. After coming back to India in 2007, he started acquiring land for NNR and working on the necessary permissions for his proposed Solar Farm project. He does not believe in getting land and other incentives from Government. He is very hands on in acquiring land, getting necessary permissions from the respective Governments and developing and implementing viable business models for each project. |

Arun Sampath Kumar is a Chartered Accountant (CA) by profession. He holds commerce degree from the Madras University. He is also a Cost Accountant and Certified Mutual Fund Advisor (CMFA). Had a long stint in the Industry spread across Manufacturing, Information Technology, Infrastructure and utilities, and has worked

with Start-up, High-growth and Public Listed Companies. He has played the key roles of CFO, Vice President, Financial Controller, Senior Internal Auditor etc., during his career in these industries. |
Till recently, he was with SunEdison, a USA based leading Solar Energy Company in the world as the Head of Finance for its operations in South Asia and sub-Saharan region. He has also worked with Companies like AIG, Ashok Leyland and Hexaware. He has wide experience in setting up finance organisations to support Business Operations for Private and Public Limited Companies. Has rich experience in building the finance organization and capital structuring for project based SPVs, JVs, etc. He brings in lot of experience in financial engineering with respect to structuring deals for Solar projects. Through constant innovation and perseverance for Excellency, over the period of time he has developed practical strategies for improving the company’s financial performance. |

Commonly referred as KSN in the Industry circle and is a well known name in the Indian Renewable Sector. He is an Electrical Engineer, graduated from College of Engineering, Guindy, Chennai. He is an empanelled consultant of MNRE, Govt of India. He is a renewable industry Veteran whose career spans over 4 decades. |

He started his career in the year 1964 as Technical Assistant in MacNeil & Magor Ltd. He has worked with Companies like L&T McNeil, Siemens, Wind Turbines Ltd, etc., and has played all types of roles from Technical Assistant to Managing Director. He played very key role in the Rural Electrification initiative by electrifying 300 tribal villages in the state of Jharkhand. He actively involved in the construction of concentrated Solar Steam based power generation with steam storage at Mount Abu, Rajasthan. He visited many countries like Japan, Thailand, Lao, Germany, Singapore, Bangladesh, etc., as a trade representative, Prime Minister’s invitation, training, etc. |
